Sunny and windy conditions
10 lanes, 30 targets, 2 shots/target = 60 shots/points total
19-55 yards, mix of 35mm, 1-1/2" and 40mm kill zones.
Average distance: 36.6 yards, Average KZ size: 1.53", Course Difficulty: 33.2T with wind factor
A big thank you to Pyramyd Air for providing CAGC with 10 Air Venturi Rat field targets.
Ron setup the course using the Rat targets and the UK Flop Over targets from Leo’s target collection.
We had a couple new shooters to CAGC. We were glad to welcome Stephan and Scott to the event. After a brief safety meeting, we had grouped people in pairs and had started the match. We had one cold line with a broken swivel.
It was a perfect day to shoot field target. Not too hot and not too cold. A bit windy requiring holding off outside the full-sized kill zones.
A tie score between Matt Sq and Alan E should have been settled by a shoot off but Alan had left before the scores were compiled. I decided to break their tie score by counting the far target hits and Matt had 11 versus 8 for Alan.
Another thanks to Pyramyd Air. They allowed us to give away some gift cards to people who placed in the following spots – 1st, 6th, 11th & last place. The Result below indicates who received the gift cards.
