Results 2022 September 18 CAGC FT match results

2022 September 18 Sunday FT Match Report
Temperature: 60-80 degrees F
Wind: 5-15 mph
Sunny with variable high winds
10 lanes, 30 targets, 2 shots/target = 60 shots/points total
15-55 yards, mix of 15mm, 35mm, 1-1/2" and 40mm kill zones.
Average distance: 38.8 yards, Average KZ size: 1 1/2", Course Difficulty: 37.46T with wind factor
I forgot to post the match on AGN and AGW. Despite that, we were surprised to have the high number of shooters attending. We had 11 squads of two shooters each for the 10 lanes available. So, we had one squad wait until a lane was open.
A big thanks to Pete and Bernie for helping set up the course on Saturday morning.
It was challenging day. High winds switching around. The winds were about the same difficulty as when I went to Rome for the World Field Target Championships.
Note: Light weight pellets under 8 grains are not good when shooting in these high wind conditions.
We had the largest group this year for our last match of 2022.
We welcomed first time shooting in Lebanon the crew from Nenameseck Sportsmen's Club (Palmer, MA) and Eli F from New Haven.
Another thanks to Pyramyd Air. They allowed us to give away some gift cards to people who placed in the following spots – 1st, 6th, 11th & last place. The Result below indicates who received the gift cards.
There were several ties for the PA gift cards. The tie breaker(*) was the number of hits on the far target and the positional lanes.
Thanks to all that attended and helped clean up the course by 1 pm.
