2022 TEXtreme FT STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS match reminder

Today's arrival of the Rifle and Pistol STATE CHAMPION awards reminds me the 2022 Republic Of Texas TEXtreme Field Target STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS are only a week away!

Besides crowning the first ever TEXtreme Field Target Rifle and Pistol STATE CHAMPIONS, $1450 in AIRGUNS OF ARIZONA gift certificates will be distributed among the top four rifle shooters and top three pistoleros. Many, MANY THANKS to Airguns Of Arizona for their generous sponsorship support for TEXtreme Airgun Sports competitions, without which there would be no extreme field target opportunities in Texas.

In other pertinent news, i have added a ninth shooting lane to the TFT course thanks to another generous donation of two brand-new extreme field targets from Action Armour Targets. So TFT matches will now consist of 54 shots per match on nine shooting lanes. THANK YOU, ACTION ARMOUR!

Feels like overkill, what with the Derrick Wall statue that Ron commissioned. Maybe the statue can have a plaque in one hand and an AOA gift certificate in the other. Since it's life-sized, it only took $30 of bronze but the artist spent 14 hours trying to recreate Derrick's angelic smile.

Would have taken $30,000 worth of bronze if it was a statue of SC, but only a couple minutes to recreate his devilish smirk!

Scott, you big sasquatch looking rascal! Someone said they spotted big foot over at the Arlington Sportsman Club the other day. I calmed them down and let them know it was just SC setting up for the Field Target event and showed them a picture of you brother. Nice smile, Scott.
