I had a half dozen of the 22gr JTS .22cal in my cart last week with intentions of ordering them during a labor day sale. I forgot to place the order. I bet my Ghost would have liked them too.

The JTS's are nicely made and shoot really well. Picked up some to try when the pellet shop had them on sale. Now I have to get more when they go on sale again.

Drove a long way to a WMA today to go squirrel hunting but saw nothing aside from woodpeckers everywhere. Got back home and spotted a rabbit out in my field so it wasn't a totally gameless day after all. It was an easy shot with the HW100S.

Got another one this morning. First shot went through the front shoulders leaving it hanging by it's back legs for a few seconds, the second hit right between the eyes and exited though the spine center back, from about 20 yards.

Got out this afternoon with the HW100S; the wind was blowing some making it hard to see movement in the trees and there was a lot of little birds hopping around harvesting acorns too but I managed to get three. Not great pictures as it was dark thirty.

You just keep knocking them down! And so far I've mostly just caught glimpses of squirrel.
Had one stop long enough for a shot the other day and watched the pellet fly right over it's head.

I missed the first shot of the day, about 20 yards out and up at a steep angle; pellet hit the limb right under the head. Squirrel took off so I sat and waited a while behind cover to see if it might come back by and it did. Didn't miss the second try !
