Huben 2024 Huben K1 Arrived Today - Operator Error - Yikes!

I ordered a 2024 Huben KY from Kelly in Missouri (Krazycool Airguns) on Saturday. I ordered walnut stock in .25 caliber. The rifle arrived today.

Kelly was so great to work with. He included some AEA pellets a brand I've never shot before, but hear good things about. Super fast shipping. Even faster than Krale.

The gun arrived aired to 300 BAR and Kelly says it shoots lights out at 55 yards, his test distance.

You see an Immersive zero eye-relief optic on the rifle, the 10x40 which I like very much. Looks like I'm going to have to add another base to the base on the Immersive because I can't get up on the lens very well as it sits right now. I have lots of scope mounts though.

I'm hoping to get the scope tightened down and sighted in at 13 yards as soon as my new knee (10 days ago) says it is ok. I'll be shooting the 33+ grain AEA. I do have a bunch of various weight JSBs and Hades as well.

I'm hoping this gun is terrific for what ails a fine grey squirrel in my hickories and oaks? The gun is superbly finished, very light, and a perfect length at 32" for me. I will not need to add a moderator. It is plenty of quiet as is.

Thanks to all who helped me learn about the Huben K1.

Wow, Christmas eve delivery! Timing doesn't get any better than that man. Enjoy!

Thanks all. I do have to figure out how to move my 10x40 Immersive optic closer to my face. Researching that now.

I'm a foot and half less tall than a 7' person. My LOP is short as well. The LOP on this rifle is fine for me but I'm having to crane my neck too far forward to get the eye the required short distance (.7") the ocular sense. One one of the four base set screws, the one I've circled in green, actually drops down in the rifle's scope base (picatinney). If I could swap positions with that one with the one to its immediate left (toward the muzzle) I'd have the scope moved reward enough for a comfortable cheek weld and full field of view on the scope.

I thought to add another rail on top of the one machined into the Huben and then attach the Immersive optic to that. It's not a very elegant solution though.

I'd love to hear some ideas on the subject.

Thanks
Roy
Merry Christmas to all of you as well.

Maybe something like this? I'd attach this to the rifle's machined rail and then my Immersive to it?

I have an e-mail in to Kelly, but I don't expect him to see it on Christmas Day.

I shot the K1 yesterday. No issues. I decided to sight in my Immersive Optic about 45 minutes ago. I opened the mag lock lever on Left side of rifle. Loaded the magazine and seated pellets with the rubber pointed Pen Kelly provided. I FORGOT to close the magazine lock lever.

Yep, my rifle executed an air dump right under my chin. I knew right away what I had done. So I aired it up again (it dumped the cylinder to nearly empty MPA and the Reg gauge to almost zero as well.

Went outdoors to shoot again. Air dump again just like first. Yikes!!

I'm probably the first Huben K1 owner in the history of the rifle to have done this dump (dumb) thing. I love this rifle and I have to get it working again. I've done searches and can't find a post where someone addresses the fix for this.

help please. :(
