Remarks:
We had a few people attend our first match of the year. It was cold and windy. It was mostly cloudy with some brief moments of sunshine during the match.
Mark M was the marshal for this match. We had only one cold line to replace a malfunctioning target which Mark was able to fix at the end of the match.
Tricky wind conditions made the course much more difficult for everyone. Lanes 8 and 10 were relocated to new locations while maintaining their distances and difficulties. Sometimes the wind conditions would be different from the shooting line and at the target.
Overall it is a good practice for shooting in the wind.
After everyone was done shooting, all helped wind up the strings back to the targets.
All went back to the warmth of the clubhouse and had some lunch. Cindy grilled some hotdogs. We had some brownies baked by Linda (Mark's wife).
Thank you all that braved the cold windy weather. The upper pond course will eventually have 25 lanes for the grand prix match for 1 shot per target.
Next match: 2024 May 26 at Club house course
