It was as consistent as shots could land in one bull or three bulls after in just a second . The craziest wind I have ever seen.

I was shooting in the farthest bench to the west and that wind was kicking up the dirt. I had to wait quite a few times for the dust to clear before I could shoot! Wicked Wicked wind!! I am guessing 35-40.

My campsite and if you notice closely between my rifle stock and the sliding clamp on my rest I had to improvise. I wasn't shooting as well as I should have and notice on day 2 that one of my rifles didn't clamp down in my rest. there was about an 1/8 inch of movement. I stuck in one of my snacks, an organic fruit stick and shot much better on Sunday!!

How did you like the fruit stick Joe? It is all I had that size that I could think of for a temporary fix.

Lou said it was alright for me to post this little teaser until all the results are officially posted. I think they forgot to carry over the 1 for all the other shooters except for me when adding up the final totals! Just sayin!

First off congrats Dan. Thanks Joe! and I would like to add, I am not saying that there was a mistake as I know how good Lou really is. Lou and Mike and I were all smiling and joking as I walked up there as none of us expected me to be called but I did shoot pretty well on Sunday and climbed back into respectability with a 741. That certainly doesn't hurt any scoring! Saturday scores, we won't go there. I am saying it tongue in cheek as I never expected to take home anything but smiles and memories! Of which I have a bunch more to call back on in the future!!

scoring is a big task and the most important. Could not ask for two better persons to get the job done. Again happy you shot well.
