2025 NEVADA STATE FIELD TARGET CHAMPIONSHIPS AND AAFTA GRAND PRIX
Nevada is back for 2025. This is a AAFTA sanctioned pistol and rifle match with a special test shooting event after the matches on Friday and Saturday.
The course may change slightly from 2024 (become a little more difficult), a full upgrade to a 36 Troyer difficulty is unrealistic and wildly inappropriate for this location.
Those who have been there know, those who haven't are missing out on a quality wind training event, something that a few folks probably wish they had more of for the 2024 World Championships in Arizona.
The current corse configuration would easily punish the best shooters in the world, if only they had the guts to attend.
The registration and map to the site are attached to this post. We will have copies of the registration form on hand at the event, we would prefer that they will filled out on site so we do not have to track a bunch of mail prior to the match.
The start times have been moved back, 9am on Saturday and Sunday we may option to start at 8am on Sunday to get things moving earlier in the day. And we have raised the entry fee to $100.
We will have the canopy at the lower area again, however this time it will be twice the size and if all goes well, will cover two new picnic tables!
A 15th lane may be added to the end of the course, it would be situated for shooting across the stream and up the hill to the east.
Our contact information is in the registration form, this event will be posted to the Airgun Warriors and Airgun Nation forums as well as to the AAFTA website calendar.
The special test event will utilize a 22cal to 30cal pellet or slug airgun with a recommended minimum 20x scope (max allowed power around 100fpe). Bring a bipod, tripod, shooting bags and wind meter, if you don't have any of these items there will be a few people willing to share.
Are YOU "Tough Enough"?
If so we'll see you this JUNE!!!
