Umarex $ 207.99 Notos

I just wanted to take a moment and express my delight with my new Notos I got via this deal. It's such a great entry level rifle and a real tack driver out of the box. Very accurate and I'm getting 20 shots @ 700 fps +/- 3 fps with JTS 18.1gr pellets.

My only complaint would be the trigger isn't great, but what can you expect from a $210 rifle, you can't have it all at that price.

I've read about and performed the rounding and polishing of the trigger adjustment grub screw and that helped. I'm going to dig a bit deeper and see what else people are doing for their triggers and work on it more this weekend.

If you're in the market for a cheap PCP I'd recommend it to anyone looking. I bought a FlashPup in Aug, and while also decent for a first PCP, knowing what I know now, I would have bought the Notos instead back then.

Many have complained about Magazine Failure. If that happens, or anything else, contact @Firewalker . He is about "Everything Notos"!~

Thank you 10beers! 🫡

Pantanni, you may want to polish the sear face and put a tiny drop of grease on the shear point.

I got a sub-pound trigger doing that.

So... I decided to take my trigger adjustment grub screw out to put a small dab of grease on it because I forgot to after I polished it and installed it last night.

As a self proclaimed noob when it comes to air rifles, I was adjusting the screw the wrong way this whole time and making the pull heavier instead of lighter (who has time time to read the manual 🤣)

I turned it clockwise and found the point where the rifle wouldn't fire while the safety was on and then added an extra half turn and now it's as smooth and light as i was hoping to get it without any extra work!

I couldn't be happier with it now for the price I paid. What a great little rifle!

The drop block and carbon fiber bottle are on my wishlist! What else should I put on there?

My friend! Have I got a deal for you! 🤣😅😆😊

JK

I suggest the Dream Valve if you can afford it, the ease to install it is worth it alone!

Alsafe carbon fiber bottle from Amazon .22L is my Fav!

What to watch for: New orings on the bottle and air block. The ones that come with the DV are hit and miss....

I just ordered my dream valve and while I couldn't find a Alsafe bottle in .22L I did find a Tuxing and ordered it.

You mentioned the orings can be hit or miss, as I'm still pretty new to the hobby i don't have many spare orings except the ones that came with my pump and rifle. Can you recommend an oring kit from Amazon that will have the correct sizes?

Thanks for all your help with this.

Tuxing cf bottles are made by Alsafe, you'll see when it arrives, it's written on the upper left side of the label.
