Kral Arms 21GR slugs

Hi there, is anyone shooting slugs with kral shadow .22 ? Standard barrel length 530mm, I'm currently shooting barracuda match 21gr and interested in changing over to slugs.

Hi, I'm down in South Africa and Kral Rifles are popular. I purchased mine from SA Air Rifles and Accessories. Pellet guns.com also supply the shadow. Not sure if they ship internationally. Below is my current shadow in .22

Cool rifle, wish we could get them here in the States (maybe Krale will start carrying them ). As far as slugs go, I would assume that it shoots them well. I’m sure it’s a choked barrel, but I have several PCPs with choked barrels that shoot slugs just fine. Zans, NSA, Javalins and FX hybrids are all quality options………good luck!

Hi, thanks I really enjoy this rifle, it does shoot slugs but still looking for the right slugs FX gen2 not so good, zan and NSA are extremely expensive here in South Africa so I'm looking at the H&N 21gr in .217 hoping they will group well. The range I shoot at runs from 25m out to 100m. The 21gr barracuda match are good out about 40m then start open up outside of 1 MOA.

Nice looking rifle!! I have some Apolo 21 gn slugs that work well in my Airforce Escape UL. Not sure if they are available in your area, but worth a try if they are.

Hi, thanks for info I will check if those slugs are available here, I think I'm struggling with slugs due to the chocked barrel as the 21gr pellets are grouping perfectly from 25m to 40m but slugs are all over the place.

Seldom do airguns come equipped ready to shoot slugs, be the proper oomph to get them up to speed, or the barrel choke / dimensions. You'd be better off sourcing your own unchocked (ideally 24"-32") barrel and slugging it, and going from there imo. Thanks for sharing your shadow, cool looking gun.

218 for kral barrels has been my best luck so far. Had great luck with empire xs, empire and reximex throne all shooting 218 nsa, H&N and Javelin.
