.22 Crown 380

I call your Crown Compact and raise you a Crown Ultra Compact! 😜

FX 300cc bottle and 300mm Dreamline compact barrel in GRS stock. Hella fun little compact! Sadly not what I would call cheap especially if you don’t have all the spare parts laying around like a FX addict/me. 😅
What kind of speeds are you shooting with it? What an awesome idea

It is for my yard so right at 690 fps for all the ammo (7.9g, 10.3g & 13g) I use, I think I got the 10.3 grain up to 850fps but it has been a while. The funny part is I had to set the reg at 145 bars to get the 10.3 grain pellet to shoot down at 690 fps, the MK2 has a lot of juice and the low TP setting is too restrictive.

To make things really fun/interesting, I was able to shoot the 12.5 grain NSA slugs at about 820 fps if I remember correctly and very accurate at 100 yards. It was too windy so I didn't get a sub MOA group at 100 yards but I think on a calmer day I could. I know, I like tinkering way too much. LOL!

Great minds think alike qball hahaha :ROFLMAO:
:coffee:

NICE!!! Pretty wild that a crown can be only 3-4 inches longer than dedicated carbine like BRK ranger. I thought about getting another 170cc tube for the crown too but my dream-tac compact would feel jealous. LOL

NICE ultra compact collection!

Oh it looks really short and compact. Didn't realize the barrels on them were that short. It's a great shooter!
I bought a blank from AoA and had it cut and machined for a shorter OAL. That is why it's still sliver, I haven't blued it or covered it yet. I actually have the original length barrel back on the rifle with the original moderator. The original shot better then the one I had machined.

Ahh makes sense! No wonder I was confused lol.

It is highly likely you will end up with more than one(gun and barrel)………ask me how I know.😅
I fought the urge to buy a 25cal 380 barrel setup for my crown by buying a 25 cal veteran.
Spend 3x more than a barrel kit, but hey! Who ever said 1 more gun was just too many! 🤣

Settings are: slug port, transfer port on high, wheel on 13, IHS screw 5.1mm out, reg is 118 bar
I have a crown mk1 with a 380mm barrel is this is the exact tune I want. I’m currently set at 150bar on the reg, front wheel on middle setting (177/22) and rear wheel on 18. I know you just answered in the above but I’m not sure I follow everything. I do know my reg is high but I’d love to achieve similar results, I’m currently getting about 72 shots at 870fps with the 18g JSB.

I have been debating a crown .22 in 380mm. More of a want than a need. This does not help my savings.
Check out Bullet Central. They have a really good sale ongoing for the Crowns.
