Huben .22 GK1 10 inch Shroud & Impulse

I got the idea when Weevil was talking about "Leveraging" the shroud.

10-inch shroud. A hair or two under 1-inch od. Any larger od won't fit. My air tube droops as you get closer to the receiver; clearance is tight.

The Clague Shroud & 1250 Impulse combo produces a very low report & I think it looks nice . Recorded 36 inches to the side of the muzzle. 21 grain 800 fps. 4500 psi fill. That is a yardstick you see in video to maintain 36 inches. To me, it is so quiet it is funny.

Looks great and must be just the action noise with that arrangement. I have been very happy with mine. I opened up the air stripper passages to 1/8in and it’s just tink-tink with the GTOs. I’m finding now that a Huma30 is just as effective as the IA and a little less of a metallic resonance. The interaction from the shroud can affect the effectiveness of the moderator and I encourage you to experiment. In general, I observe that the IAs are more effective on unshrouded guns.

Specifically, for me for the GK1.

I think you are right; I am not hearing much more than the noise of the action. It is funny how loud the impact sounds on any quiet gun.
