.22 H&N pile drivers, where are they???

Here is a 2007 report I made on the original Piledrivers made by the designer Hugh of PAX who sold out to H&N.

At 100 yards they went through thick builders' form ply at mv 660 fps 29 fpe. I found the .22s had a BC close to 0.10 and the highest for air rifle pellets I have ever seen.
50 yards groups from the BSA at that same power were around 1/2"+/-
I have not seen the H&N version here in OZ ...... Kind regards, Harry.

Thank you for the link to the 100 yards test, Yrrah. They seem to group decent from your rifle similarly to the always reliable JSBs. I plugged in the BC of the PileDriver into Chairgun replacing the BC of the JSBs and the POI was 5 inches higher at 100 yards. And 78% energy retained vs. 47% for the JSBs lower BC. For those who hunt that's great news, and for target shooters it's less scope or hold-over adjustment. That's if your rifle likes the PileDriver :)

That only applies if your rifle will shoot them to the same muzzle velocity of course.
When I shot them I didn't change anything so they had a much lower MV but still did quite well.
I wish I had some now as I could get them out of the FX Elite at over 800 fps. They may do better then and penetration would be huge. ... Harry.
