.22 JSB 18.13gn performance through sweet potato

Was wondering if pellets at this speed would mushroom at bit or not thought a sweet potato...guess not lol
The 18gn pellet zipped right though with little to no expansion but don't really need it for sparrows or doves. Gonna try out some slugs to see if they'll expand at this speed unless someone else has already tried it...let me know

I can't help but wanna shoot 950+ fps but out of the question for my backyard plinking...but it is cool to see
crazy violent expansion at higher fps.

Just attached the last vid to show how a 62gn 30cal slug shot into 2 water jugs @ 957 fps performs

Try some 17gr Griffin LDC slugs

Never had a pellet expand when in the correct direction, but backward oh boy! Also don’t recommend.

Fun testing. From the ballistic gel videos I have watched I dont think most pellets deform or expand at all at normal speeds. If you push them fast they can do some wild deformation depending on the pellet. The Hades/Atomics kind of expand at higher speeds. I shoot mine at ~980fps.
