They lied to you, as they have done recently about most of their changes. They said they made the cavities deeper on the RD Monster and they said it had thicker skirts to keep shape better during shipment. But the reality is that the older ones had shallow cavities and thicker skirts. Both points they stressed were outright lies.
Similar thing going on with the .25 Heavy pellets. They have been putting Mk2 in King Heavy tins for well over a year now. When caught outright, they said "the only difference between the two are a skirt with greater diameter (6.68 vs 6.60). Another lie. The "new" King Heavy (Mk1) are EXACTLY the same as the Mk2 in every way and do NOT have a larger diameter skirt. The big lie continues... The sad part is guns with polygonal barrels shoot the older style King Heavy with deep cavity an 6.68mm skirt so much better than the Mk2. Hopefully H&N will wake up and make something in the 34 grain range that shoots accurately in the poly barrels so we can give JSB the heave ho....
