Western Airguns .22 Sidewinder Slug Recommendations ?

Last week I started playing with the .22 version of the sidewinder. I have the reg at standard 125 bar and the power wheel turned all the way in to be close as I can to backyard friendly. So right now it is lobbing out .22 15.9gr hades at 698fps. I am trying to keep the noise down. I topped it with the Pard NV008 LRF.

When I leave the house I want to crank the power up and shoot some slugs. Does anyone have any experience or recommendations on what slugs I should pick up to try?

I'm assuming I'll need to go for some lighter slugs unless I wanna bump direct pressure up.

Thank you,

Roger

I just started to dabble with them in my .22, and have not found anything stellar. I've tried JSB knockouts and some NSA slugs up to 25 grain in .218, as .217s were showing the nose drop forward of the mag exit, which you don't want - that can lead to jams.

I've only shot a few mags at about 20 yards, and the groups were about a half inch so not looking promising. The good news is that there is plenty of power without touching the regulator - I have no trouble getting them up to 1000 fps.

But the noise at that level will be very high at that power.

I too will be watching this for suggestions . . .
