That is a question that can surely be argued and argued about! It reminds me of 9mm vs. 45cal in the PB world.
It really is a toss up. You'll feel the wind more with the .22. But, at <60 yards it would be hard to tell the difference in accuracy between the two. If you plan on hunting or pest control, then I'd lean towards the .22 for the extra knockdown power. If you're only punching paper then I'd lean towards the .22 for less expensive pellets, more choices of pellets, and generally more shots per fill.
