2300 hpa issues

So i picked up a 2300 that's been heavily modified. Has safpac,custom clip breech,power adjuster stock longer barrel. So I filled it to 1800-2000 psi tried 1st shot and it sounded like it used a crazy amount of air it pushed the probe back and the thing in this breech that gets air to the pellet. I had hammer spring screw backed way out. New to these modded Crosman just looking for help thanks

Any reason I couldn't just push the barrel into the breech and use tubing on the probe to seal?

I will say that no....the probe should stay, the barrel looks right; go to other places that will also help you like utube.
Some people do use "freezer tubing?
Always better to read and learn as much as you can,that way to get a better understanding of how and why things are done the way they are....
People can help you here,but you still should know the basics of hopping up Crosman Pistols. Me Too,I am still learning.
