My original thought came from Ace Hardware plumbing section , Their is a Aisle the has a wall of little drawers and another sliding rack just in front of it , like sliding closet doors .

Thank you for that picture. My wife thinks I have too many airguns. I showed that picture to her and she was speechless. Hopefully this dampens some of the fighting over purchases of new airguns.

Since I had the eye surgery and don’t need glasses any more. I like the Air Max a lot more since. I still prefer the Element Scopes, but not fair because their double cost. Air Max 3x9x40 is an excellent choice. I have several. Crow

At first I thought you being sarcastic, and was going to say “sure sure and put a motor on it. Then my rack in my scrap steel pile came to mind. That rack owes me nothing. Talk about recycle. Thawed it out. Then I got the Bubonic Plague. Drove me crazy laying in bed with that project on my mind. When I got strength I went out and worked on it here and there. My shop is heated. I still feel like Sampson and Delilah just cut my hair. What ever this is it’s relentless. Haven’t shot a gun in 2 weeks. That’s a record.
But Stan, this rack saved the day, big time. It actually worked out better than I hoped. And it comfortably holds 24. There’s no way a gun will fall unless knocked.
I actually find them more secure than the ones on the wall.

I started, and mercy been 10 yrs. since I had a cold. Never had anything hang on like this.I noticed that you disappeared, and I said to myself, "Yup, Crowski is building a gun rack"
It came out great!
If I'm not mistaken beerthief has a roller with vertical racks, and that was what I thought you were going to go for, so I was surprised to see a horizontal roller.
Hopefully go down and juggle a few guns around. Got my eye on a FWB 127. Have a spot saved. Crow

I shot an FWB that Stan in Kentucky has and it was like surprise when it fired. The feel, the trigger and the accuracy was outstanding.

When looking for wood for this project I came across a few laminated pieces that never got used, till now. Bonus.I had to notch the tops to make them fit. And mark the holes. Easy. I liked the rifle on an angle so I did the same with the pistols. They sit better.
This rack is proving to be the answer. I’ve tried to knock rifles off by moving rack. Not a chance.
Here’s the other side.
They don’t interfere with the rifles one smigon. You have to be careful retrieving but not a problem. 
I’m convinced this is the way to go over the wall.

It's a cool display.

It’s amazing the difference between same gun but different caliber.
I’m banking 30’s and 50’s knowing I’m not getting any younger and I‘m sure they will be manageable later.
On this rack I had 30’s and 80’s on one side and 50’s and 90’s on the other.

I think you should put the tank over it with a coin slot and a push buttons to make your selection.
