I ordered a Hawke Airmax 3-9x40 demo from Optics Planet few days back. I forgot which scope you were happy with Crow? Do tell once more for a forgetful old man? Be Well, Bandito.

My original thought came from Ace Hardware plumbing section , Their is a Aisle the has a wall of little drawers and another sliding rack just in front of it , like sliding closet doors .A few weeks ago SpiralGroove did a post on his gun rack. I expressed I may have to convert my racks to vertical storage. Beertheif mentioned a rack with wheels. Don’t know if being serious or sarcastic, it set off a fire storm.
I had a hockey stick rack that was in my store and I converted it to hold ply wood. Eventually it made its way to the scrap pile, was going this spring. I pulled it out of a pile all bent out of shape.View attachment 527257The tubes filled with water froze and turned square pipe, round.View attachment 527258After a day of thawing I cut it down to 56 inches.
Now I not going for Better Homes and Gardens award. No paint or stain. I found some Watco, could have used for shoe polish. I’m looking for stability, compact and generous storage.View attachment 527259My shop is a total write off. Don’t like working under these conditions. I was able to make a jig for the holes. The dowels are 1/2 in. I actually had to go buy. View attachment 527262Finally finished, No beauty Queen. View attachment 527260Now to avoid a heart attack and drag it to the house.
‘After a wipe down I had to reassemble it. HW 30’s on top and HW80’s belowView attachment 527263I‘m really happy with the sturdiness. I can spin the cart with no fear of rifles falling. You can see the angle of the pegs. This is absolutely the answer to my problem. Equivalent to 10 ft. of wall.
‘Thanks Beertheif

Since I had the eye surgery and don’t need glasses any more. I like the Air Max a lot more since. I still prefer the Element Scopes, but not fair because their double cost. Air Max 3x9x40 is an excellent choice. I have several. CrowI ordered a Hawke Airmax 3-9x40 demo from Optics Planet few days back. I forgot which scope you were happy with Crow? At first I thought you being sarcastic, and was going to say “sure sure and put a motor on it. Then my rack in my scrap steel pile came to mind. That rack owes me nothing. Talk about recycle. Thawed it out. Then I got the Bubonic Plague. Drove me crazy laying in bed with that project on my mind. When I got strength I went out and worked on it here and there. My shop is heated. I still feel like Sampson and Delilah just cut my hair. What ever this is it’s relentless. Haven’t shot a gun in 2 weeks. That’s a record. My original thought came from Ace Hardware plumbing section , Their is a Aisle the has a wall of little drawers and another sliding rack just in front of it , like sliding closet doors .
I started, and mercy been 10 yrs. since I had a cold. Never had anything hang on like this.I noticed that you disappeared, and I said to myself, "Yup, Crowski is building a gun rack"
It came out great!
If I'm not mistaken beerthief has a roller with vertical racks, and that was what I thought you were going to go for, so I was surprised to see a horizontal roller.
Sorry you were feeling bad.I started, and mercy been 10 yrs. since I had a cold. Never had anything hang on like this.
Hopefully go down and juggle a few guns around. Got my eye on a FWB 127. Have a spot saved. Crow
I favor Sports Match. CrowOh and rings on an HW77 ? B.
Thanks. One of those unexpected things. CrowWow!! Nice collection
I don’t know what the hell that is but you don’t want any.Sorry you were feeling bad.
It seems that colds are worse with age, kind of like falling is.
I have admired FWB's since the Robert Beeman era, but I've never got serious about owning one as yet.
Yes, I remember the postal strike, and the extra wait.I favor Sports Match. Crow

Ya can’t wait to start playing again. Have a ton of time to kill on the range. Have a few smokin‘ rifles en route. I could have driven the 2000 miles and back. These were ordered well before Christmas
‘Every FWB I have has a trigger so smooth. They are worthy. Crow

I shot an FWB that Stan in Kentucky has and it was like surprise when it fired. The feel, the trigger and the accuracy was outstanding.
View attachment 527837 I can't see it yet, but I think this was the FWB.
Yup
What a beautiful gun.
It's a cool display. You can walk all the way around it. Do you sort them by caliber, or action? When looking for wood for this project I came across a few laminated pieces that never got used, till now. Bonus.I had to notch the tops to make them fit. And mark the holes. Easy. I liked the rifle on an angle so I did the same with the pistols. They sit better.View attachment 528036This rack is proving to be the answer. I’ve tried to knock rifles off by moving rack. Not a chance.
Here’s the other side. View attachment 528038They don’t interfere with the rifles one smigon. You have to be careful retrieving but not a problem. View attachment 528039I’m convinced this is the way to go over the wall.
Maybe put a fish tank in the center. Haha. Crow
I keep models together and try to get all calibres. And 2 .177’s. One reg. spring, one 12 FPE.It's a cool display. You can walk all the way around it. Do you sort them by caliber, or action?
It does need a WEIHRAUCH banner on it somewhere, after all you are a sponsor.
I think you should put the tank over it with a coin slot and a push buttons to make your selection.Maybe put a fish tank in the center. Haha. Crow
