Anybody tried to use a Marauder barrel to fit to the 2240? Wonder what Crosman sells the .25 barrel for? Use the 2240 steel breech, make a .25 bolt, turn down the barrel to fit, etc. Why? Why not?

Those parts are available from other after market sources such as :http://www.bnmcustom.com/ They have complete kits to turn a 2240 into a multi shot shrouded .25 cal. as well as .22 and .177.
