I recently did some testing with my .25 cal. Cricket to see what effect pellet weight would have on accuracy at 25 yds.
The far left side is 6 shots taken by random pellet selection out of the tin. JSB Exacts
Then I shot 8 pellets @ 25.3 gr, 8 shots 25.4 gr, 8 shots 25.5 grain.....and then 5 shots with pellets ranging from 25.2-.6
I repeated this the next day with identical results. My conclusion was at 25 yds my rifle doesn't care about pellet weight. I suspect the lighter the pellet the more important the weight differential. I look forward to repeating this when my RAW .22 comes in and also adding the variable of head diameter.
