Im in the prosses of ordering a .25cal kit to my crown mk2. How heavy pellet/slugs work with standard liner before I have to try slug liner A?

Slug liner a is an older liner. Do you have one?
Current liners are superior and superior heavy? Superiors tend to do extremely well with most slugs. Heavy option obviously being for heavier slugs.

With 600mm on a crown I would try 26 grain NSA first, 29 is probably heaviest I would go unless you get slug power kit and heavy liner. No need for trying slug liner although it won’t hurt.

So it Will be better to buy the 25?gr jsb pellet instead of the 34?gr jsb pellet? Its not so many light (under 30gr) slugs in the shop i use to shop at, I can get the HN 28gr slug and the fx hybrid 26gr, that probably the once i have to try on standard 600mm stx. Ill probably buy a slug powerkit later from huma

I would go with the standard Superior currently offered by FX. You can use light to mid weight slugs with great results. But I dont think the Crown makes enough power to really take advantage of the heavy slugs and Heavy liner.

So what speeds is to be expected with a slug power kit on a std Superior with around 30gr slugs?

There is no such thing as a “Heavy” liner anymore. The new slug liners are laser-engraved with the word “Slug”.

The standard superior liner should work really well on all pellet weights, including the "heavy" 34gr FX's. It's only when you start getting into the heavier weight slugs that you'd want to step up to the slug liner, although it still may shoot the lighter slugs better than the standard liner as well.
Standard superior liner if you'll shoot mostly pellets, plus some slugs. Slug liner if you plan on the opposite. Personally I run a 600mm superior as I shoot pellets most of the time.

Maybe a dilema has ocured here now, I can get an fx bobcat .25 for the same price as a .25 barrel kit to the crown. I cant find much info on the bobcat other than it is old? Will it be better to buy that so I dont have to change barrels on the crown back and forth all the time ? And its more fun to have 2 Guns? XD
