Huben .25 k1 scared me

so… i was curious about something so i decided to turn my regulator up to 18-19 mpa and add 20 clicks from 17 clicks on the power wheel.37 total.
i aimed down range and pulled the trigger. the 33.49 jsb kings in the magazine made a very sharp snap that echoed as it swished in the air.

scared the crap out of me! put the gun away and turn the power wheel back down to the original 17 clicks from 0. now im sitting on the couch hoping nobody starts snooping around. 🙂↕️

First time going supersonic is exciting, but not always practical for accuracy and normal pcp shooting. At that speed you just as well get a regular firearm out. The great advantage of pcp going subsonic is tremendous accuracy potential, plenty of punch on impact, and a LOT less noise to attract unwanted attention. You also use a lot less compressed air. In my experience, I would always use a moderated pcp with a heavy .22 to .30 caliber projectile for any "critter" hunting within a hundred yards using a slug or heavy shaped pellet at or around 900-1000 fps. There's little doubt of effectiveness when a critter takes a solid hit from a well placed pcp shot at that fps and pellet weight!

Just my thoughts...your milage may vary!
