Well...I decided to cover SK-OU7008 with lots of lubricant - hell of a lot more than I would do normally...and I got it working...well at least this once...will see. I've ordered some O rings...thanks for your advice
What's driving mad is: You fix one issue and another pops up!
actually, this small issue and a couple loose screws have been the only things that I have had to work on. Again is so easy to work on and once you’ve started to fiddle with it and understand how it works. It really is quite an intuitive design.
If you’ve ever looked at the internals on an Olympic style, bench rest gun. Their trigger mechanisms are like working on a Swiss watch.
I much prefer this gun over any other that I’ve ever worked on or tinkered with. And skout has had amazing customer service. I mostly just called them if I have a question and they always answer..
Hopefully this little O-ring fixes your problem. I have a feeling it will.
Be sure and post back to :)

Hey, I’m so sorry. I think I may have recommended the wrong O-ring.
It’s the 008 not the 009
Here’s the link for the right one

I've got the Evo in both .25 and .22. I've had a bit of reg creep resulting in slowly climbing velocity and the LP side seems to max out at 160 at lower HP settings. (1400 psi). I've gotten comments that 150 psi is fine for those settings and I am inclined to agree.
Anyway, I'm interested in replacing those white orings with some buna 90 blacks. From what I read in this thread, they are working better in the regulators. Which rings need to be replaced, (on both HP and LP), thanks.

For the HPR outer o-rings, you will need 2 of the 018 and 2 of the 016
For the LPR, you will need 2 more 018
for the 2 rifles ...018=8 016=4

So what did you experience with replacing all of these?
I only replaced the 008, and the 003 on the HP and nothing on the low pressure. And everything seems to be working fine….
I do notice that if I have follow-up shots in less than 10 seconds my POI changes.
If I wait 10 seconds it’s pretty consistent……! Any thoughts on that ?

i've replaced them all
no longer have a leak while filled ...no loss of pressure when shut off
I believe that the cause of very slow leaks are due to the outer rings on the LPR .. just my opinion

As for your question on time delays ..are you running a chrono when you have experienced this?
is there a drop in fps when you do a quick follow-up shot?
I did a few quick shots at 100...did not notice any significant POI shifts ..do not know what may be causing your shifts

So my problem is I’m shooting at really close distance... 19y and I need to shoot hole in hole to be competitive. I’m wondering if my pellet isnt getting enough distance to stabilize properly.
I do notice that if I pause between shots and let my reg pressure recover I’m not getting as much shift. I installed digital gauges so I can watch the pressure recove over a few seconds. It’s not a full proof method each time but it helps

So to get this straight, replace the SK-OU9018's and the SK-OU9016's. What is the corresponding size number for ordering the 90 Buna rings. Are they neoprine, Nitrile? Do you have a link? Thank you.

Ordered the 0-ring kit. There was a bit of discussion on this thread about degassing the gun between shooting sessions to take stress off the o-rings. I haven't been doing this but decided to start. The last time I shot, the gun clocked at 984 fps with an ES of 10 and SD of 2 fps. After degassing and a couple of days later, it clocked at 976 ave with ES of 10 and SD of 3. Not sure why the speed dropped but I decided to drop velocity to see how groups would react. I dropped the velocity to an average of 961, ES 6, SD 0 for a 33 shot string. Groups are sub MOA at 50 y. Best group was 3/8"

Not sure if degassing and these numbers are cause and effect but thinking the lower HP pressure is working better. I'll not be touching the regs for the time being and see how things hold.
Hoping I'm not pulling things too far off topic.
