25 yard benchrest practice with RAW HM1000x

What are you using for front and rear rests? Sorted or unsorted lead? Lubed or not! Awesome shooting BTW!

I use Accu-Tac front and a geared bench lifter on back like this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07KDXJGX9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and I glued a 1/4” stiff foam rubber pad to top.

I have a new to me Roayle500 in a Steve S stock that is set up for benchrest. Really need to find a place to shoot here in my area. The poor gun is just sitting in my safe un-shot by me at this point.

Are there limitations on the caliber needed to play the bench game?

177 and 22 cal

There are but nobody that shoots airgun benchrest from what I have seen. Have been in talks with a few of the ranges to see if I can find anything though.

Being as the Royale is a .25 I may be SOL then .... lol

Maybe not. 25 cal is allowed but not World Benchrest (WRABF). Local clubs can allow it but not register scores for official count. It would be ok to practice with, but probably wouldn't be the same affect. Would be an issue with scoring plugs as well.

i meant open land , set up your own targets and table ?

Yeah could do that.... but its no fun to shoot alone

I think that's for Phx Airgun club Match......"This is a Phoenix Air Gun Club Benchrest specific competition, therefore unsanctioned." If that matters for this discussion. I'm often wrong.....
