Mr hollowpoint and NSA seem to be reputable suppliers of .257 ammo. It seen NSA is currently out of stock so what are some other options for purchasing ammo? Any suggestions

I apologize, I was laughing at the first gibberish response you got above. Maybe check Zan from the sponsors above, or post in the pellets, slugs and projectiles category. NSA is still filling in inventory from their move I’d imagine, so perhaps you can ask them directly when to expect .257 to be in stock.

Thanks. I'm very new to pcp air rifles and with this texan plan to take my 10 year old son predator and possibly prairie dog hunting so I'm trying to learn as much as I can

NSA has been out of stock on .257 for over a year. I bought a 257420 mold and couldn't be happier. Casting is easy.

Ditch the 257 and move up to 308 or better as I did(457)

+1. I bought an Arsenal 257420 BT mold for my 1:14 TJ barrel. Fantastic combination. It does not take long to recoup the investment in a mold and lead pot. You might need a sizing die too. I made my own.

I got it to dip my feet into the pcp world cause it doesn't consume as much air as the 457. And is more practical to target shoot with and hunt predators. I got the 257 cause everything I read said the 257 and 457 are the most accurate. In time my plane is to get the 457

several of the Arsenal molds shoot well for me.
Just get a pot and start casting your own, swaging is great but usually a lot more expensive to setup.

I've looked at the initial investment it's like $1500 to get going with in my opinion less hassle and better slugs.
