You shot one at a time...why would you need 3 guns?
Exactly

Great, buy two Avengers; one in 25 and one in 22 + a nice HPA pump with 12 volt and 110 volt power supply...when one starts to leak you still have a working gun (hopefully).
HILLARIOUS!!!
WHAT HAPPENS IF THE 12V/110V COMPRESSOR LIKELY KICKS THE BUCKET FIRST?
For back up in case something goes wrong with one , or if there’s more then one shooters, or because instead of blowing all the money on one pcp, I could have 3 , different caliber for different (size live targets) .
yep if I was just thinking this is JUST for me then the one expensive pcp would be just fine .

As long as the guy doesn't buy a FX Impact or doesn't thinker with it... his need for a backup gun will greatly decrease...

In case there's another shooter?
- Are we talking wife or kid? If so, sharing one rifle is just fine... and if they like it, save some $$ to buy them their very own "nice" gun.
- From personal experience, spending $ to make sure the wife is using the best equipment as always paid off. (How does it go? A happy wife, a happy life)
I have one for each door and window in the house.
I say get one ( to start) in .25 cal. Load up on pellets and a reliable source very for filling. Once it has been mastered , it’s hard to beat the reliability of a nice German made springer . I like my springers in .177 .
