3 good pcp OR 1 very good pcp

Not to mention the resale value. You can either buy a bunch of guns that are “good enough” or “good enough for now”, and buy and sell over time at a huge loss plus shipping OR you can pick one nice gun of higher quality that holds its value better and pay for it now. You’ll be money ahead and if/when you decide on something else you will have higher resale value and only pay for shipping one time.

If you can find it used in good condition then even better.

exactly the one I had in mind ... but that’s why I’m asking , that shiny one is super .. but can I justify 1 pcp for that price VS 3 pcp

"I’ve added that to the post , but yea small games up to 30 pound max , most likely 20-25 pound is more realistically speaking

(ugh.. 120 seconds error, need to wait in between replying

Great, buy two Avengers; one in 25 and one in 22 + a nice HPA pump with 12 volt and 110 volt power supply...when one starts to leak you still have a working gun (hopefully).

HILLARIOUS!!!

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE 12V/110V COMPRESSOR LIKELY KICKS THE BUCKET FIRST?

So since when have price defined what is good or very good. In this industry there is plenty of very good cheap pcp's and ofc really bad ones too. But guess what! That same happens no matter what the price point is. Part of it is different needs and requirments ppl have. Just for example I consider impact as most overpriced pile of junk ever made but yet there is plenty of ppl who think its best ever so eather they have never shot anything good or than our needs, perspectives, requirments, knowledge, skills and so on are totally different. No matter what you do just pick up one gun you enjoy most and get to feel and preferably shoot before choose and no matter what it costs take the one that tick most of your boxes and 100% IGNORE everything you see in youtube most of them are just marketing poop that wont give you any realistic picture.

I went through the same decision making and decided to go one good gun... when it arrived, I decided to buy ALL THE GUNS....

Buy something that has a very easy way to change the caliber and length of the barrel. I love the impact and crown, but my ultimate gun for plinking and shooting critters is the Edgun Leshiy 2 in .25 with a 350mm barrel. I will pick up the 177 and likely the 22 and 30 cal at some point, but I love how easy it is to change my gun from its current config to a longer .22 gun with just a barrel change (and sometimes the jets, but thats a whole other story).

Hope you get what you need, but the advice I will give is this... if you enjoy it, you will be hooked and buy another and another and another... then start horse trading them just to try other guns.

Good point , I just figure with all the reviews out there that it justify the price of being a top notch well made pcp (wild cat mk 3 Bullpup ) compare to say hatsan pcp , but don’t get me wrong there’s nothing wrong with hatsan pcp, it just feel a bit lower Quality control compare to the wild cat mk3. But these are very capable of getting the job done .
and there are those that are $2k+ that I’m like REALLY ... that’s way too much for me

There is no "right" number. Some like to tinker, some just enjoy variety, some just need one for whatever purpose. I would say that there can be little debate on the concept that it's easier to really know your guns well when you have fewer. I'm in the camp of having way too many now and have to keep a ledger of what each likes and how they are sighted. Plus the bulk of ammo. These things don't seem like they would usually be problems with a couple or three guns.
