.30 barrel thoughts/questions

Was thinking about how slugs seems to like matched groove size - .0005 or so.. then while shooting RAW BM .30 I kept looking at the skirts & how thick they really are in 44 & 50. So thick I dought they ride the groove at all for complete seal vs what a .177 or some .22 pellets could. My jsb 44's all measure around .299 & skirts at .302. LW barrels are ..298 x.306. So in my head for .30 pellets & LW barrels its about the bore/lands & twist rate. ? We can get tight .298 x .308 .30 PB barrels in cut or button. cut like Bartlein gives us any twist rate wanted I think.Basicaly I'm saying are we stuck with LW as much as we think except for slugs & even then custom slugs solves that or TJ .30. but pellet shooters seemingly should be fine with .298x.308 ? is the .002 going to make more of a differance then I think for pellets. ?

LW .30 barrels run larger than I prefer. I am sure some have great success with the LW, but it just doesn't fit my likings.

TJ's 1:26 is a proven shooter for a variety of .300 ammo, including pellets.
From what Ive seen online, the TJ's are for .30 are only available in 15mm .? I would need .625-5/8 or 16mm to make it easy on my end.
