.30 Cal Dilemma

Would NOT recommend a HATSAN .... there track record has shown the brands weakness's
The Hatsan haters have arrived.

Any data from say the last 18 months to support that?

4 Hatsan Semiauto:

If got a bullmaster down but that's looks like i beat the poppet valve into submission.

Got a Barrage I've put at least 2000 rounds through with maybe 1 round in 40 or 50 failing to index.

My invader I broke and didn't want to pay Hatsan to fix it, so it just works fine as a bolt action

My Sortie seems perfect other than you can't put a moderator on it and have it cycle.

4 Hatsans, 2 .22, 2 25. All worked fine, one down for normal wear and tear. One we won't mention how the idjit broke it and 2 that just keep pumping rounds down range.

Oh I keep hearing how *lucky* i am, but I have a different thought, maybe Hatsan has improved their quality and quality control while you all were not paying them any attention.

Morales,
Not a "barrel switcher" myself plus trying another caliber is always a great excuse for another gun. You've traveled a familiar path, inexpensive break-barrel, Chinese "starter" PCP, then top shelf FX. Same here, did find, however, dropping back to "starter" PCP was always disappointing after FX, Taipan and AGT. Uragan 2 has experienced price cuts due to introduction of Uragan 3, check out Talon Airguns and Krale (Netherlands) for deals. Best of Luck, WM

I'm not a Hatsan hater. That's what I started out with & learned on for the1st couple years (AT44, two BT65's). They served me well. However when I got my 1st "quality" gun I was flabbergasted by the difference in looks, feel & function. There's just no comparison imho but I'd never discourage anyone from them based on Brand. Particular PLATFORM, maybe but not BRAND.
