I just returned one of these to amazon, and ordered another. The one I returned was very hard to cock back and lock. I used the diablo pellets and managed to get about 15 shots out and then the mag got stuck and would not come out. I think they sent me some one else;s return that they had problems with. The box was open not even taped up.

The Hatsan brand does get occasional bad press for so-so quality, if replacement isn't any better, please feel free to ask forum for other recommendations. I have a 6.35 Hatsan Blitz and it's accuracy is horrible and it shews up magazines. After A LOT of tuning of the gun and magazine spring I got it to fire flawlessly in full auto but it has never had good accuracy. About a 1yard/meter spread at 100 yards/meters.
I have seen videos on youtube of people with really good accuracy so I assume something is wrong with my gun.
I used my chronograph that can do rate of fire, my blitz was shooting at 1200 rounds per minute. No idea if that is standard or due to the tweaking I did.
Hatsan uses some white thick lubricant, I removed all of it and replaced with regular gun oil. This made the gun MUCH smoother to cock and increased rof.
I don't know if the gunk Hatsan uses is meant to slow down the guns mechanisms but that was my experience.

thanks for responding. get the new one on monday. I hope that one is better. I have a marauder 25 cal that is very dependable but not auto.

I also got rid of the white grease they use and used oil instead. There is a guy out there that made a good youtube video on it.

I've got a .30. Shoots very well. Accurate too, (I'm a practical shooter, not a bench rester, lower standards apply). Just recieved a .22 Blitz from PA. Time to try it out. The 30 gets expensive quickly shooting those $$ pellets.
