So I've been playing with the Panthera . It's a 30cal 700mm. when I pull the trigger I get a quick blast of air from circled spot in the image.. This normal?
Thanks Greg. I'll order a reseal kit and get after it. thank youHi,
The most likely culprit when you are getting blasts of air out that hole on each shot is the o-ring in the valve seat which seals around the valve pin. This means you need to open up the rifle, remove the valve pin and then the valve seat to replace the o-ring.

The valve seat is part #7 and the o-ring in question is part #8. The o-ring is a 3.5 x 1 NBR70 (metric). The YouTube Channel "Sub12Airgunners" has a whole video on the disassembly of the Panthera and it shows you how to get by without special tools. Oh, except for the valve seat removal. These guys make a tool that can be bought from Bagnal and Kirkwood (UK) and I think 910Airguns also makes one.
I recently had to pull the valve seat on my Dynamic and because I had the block complely disassembled, I was able to put a small dowel rod in through the hole where the hammer goes, then into the hole where the valve pin goes and I could push the seat out.
Really not a bad job.
Cheers,
Greg
