Kalibrgun .30 Cricket 2 Tac ~ Zan 56gr pellets

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted anything. Tuned a Cricket 2 Tac that came out great and thought I’d share. The Old Crickets are still hard hitting and accurate with great regulators! I did some porting on this barrels transfer port, changed out the valve spring and cut a custom hammer spring. Tuned for the 56gr Zan pellets at 880 fps. I also did my mod on the magazines which helps smooth indexing. Here’s the chrony string from a 260 bar fill down to the 150 bar reg setting. This is with the 580cc factory bottle:

Tricked out the trigger for a 1 ounce first stage to a 3 ounce second which breaks very clean at 4 ounces.

Shot today at 50 yards (first) and 100 yards (second group). Each pictured group is 5-shots. Had some right to left winds!

+1 On the .30 CT2. Derrick set one up for me including scope and dope wheel. Only had a chance to shoot it at 25yds before the first UFT shoot I went to. Results the MD reduced the size of the KZ’s on the targets for the next match??
and that’s with the 50gr JSB’s and a realitively inexpensive Athlon scope. Best smile per $ ratio of any airgun purchase to date!
