I have just bought a .30 cal change kit for my Crown MKii. This being my first .30 cal, I am wondering what pellets/slugs work out good for you guys. I have several other PCP's in .22 and .25 not to mention my big girls in .457

I had a mk1 crown 600mm .30 cal but it had a newer stx liner in it and it flat out loved the fx 44.75 pellets. Was probably one of the easiest to shoot consistently accurate guns I have owned. Should have kept it.

I have a crown mk2 in both 380 and 600. Run Hades in both. The 600 is very accurate with the RMR/FX hybrid slugs (1:22 twist). As Trucker said extremely consistent with the 44 grain. 50g not so much.

The aea 45 grain are most accurate with the 1in22 twist. 886fpsis speed you want them.the hybrids do ok,but they really like about 980fps,can't get that with the crown. Jsb has fliers unless you sort them ,the aea pellets are a better buy and shoot more accurate. When your liner fouls,accuracy will diminish some. You'll notice,it's time to clean.

Ive not tried aea but yes flyers with unsorted jsb. Actually the crown 600 does a fine job with hybrid 860-900fps. I dont doubt they are good at 980 - that was the reason I was and am still looking for 1:22 700 for the panthera.

I shoot 30 caliber hybrids at 1054fps our a 28inch tj barrel. I idea of accuracy is rugged hole 5 Shor groups at 100 yards. I've not been able to get the hybrid to do that at 900 and 980fps. Your idea of accuracy and mine may be different. I have a 700mm 1in22 twist liner in 30 caliber for my impact.
