My two scopes work pretty well on this challenge. They are the Element Helix 6-24 SFP and the Arken 6-24 SH4 Gen 2 FFP.

Hekllo,I'd appreciate suggestions on what scope power and reticle pattern would be best to see the small bullseye on the 30-yard challenge sheet from the OP. The upper end for my budget would be this Athlon BTR Gen 2 10X40X56 with the fine floating dot reticle as seen in the screenshot. $450
I'd be OK with one of the Amazon brands for $200 if it's working for you. The reticle on my cheap scope is too thick for me to place my shots on the target.
Anyway--I'm open to suggestions with a budget between $200 and $500.

Hello @rc4funAfter shooting through more than a couple tins of 18g pellets that were mediocre at best I opened one yesterday that seem good. After a couple of targets I came up with my best so far. 199 &12X. I think I need to break down and get copies of the version with the dark markings. the ones I'm using now are just not as easy to see the tiny dots. Lately my shooting is near dusk when the wind calms down. Tiapan Veteran long .22 The big red dots are score plugs.

Hello @EPG,Today this is my 1st target I ever shot for this challenge.
It was freezing and windy - wind going left to right. My trigger hand turned blue - it was hard to reload the 10 shot mag, lol.
I’m not making excuses, this is not easy. I scored much better yesterday taking just 20 shots at my test target - breeze was much milder than today.
Hopefully I can get this score up soon, but I wanted to submit my 1st challenge target that I ever shot - so I can look back on it someday when I’m better - hopefully, lol.

She's not the only one! Food or money maybe but just to put holes in paper? Maybe when I was in my 20's... Nah.My girl thinks I lost my mind a bit - freezing out there till my hand looses all feeling, but it should help my concentration for when the warmer weather comes.
If your score got up quickly it would not be a challenge. But still that's all part of the fun.Hopefully I can get this score up soon, but I wanted to submit my 1st challenge target that I ever shot - so I can look back on it someday when I’m better - hopefully, lol.
nice idea to use wind flags. yes we shoot in the cold some days other times i just wish it was warmer, even thoughi have a shed to shoot out of its still miserable some days,Much stiller conditions today.
I’m submitting my 4th card shot - 3rd with the Dreamline .177. Thought it would take a few weeks to get 195, but calm conditions helped massively - and its a balmy 37 here, when it gets below 32, you sometimes get scope shift as the tube contracts along the glass elements.
Note the stillness of my “wind flags”, lol.

Hello @EPGTrying to keep focus when it’s snowing and the snow is going down your neck adds to the “30 Yard Challenge”, lol.
Only could do one target today - my 5th with the Dreamline .177.
“Ya gotta wanna” !

Thomas, you have it made down there in Texas. Many of us try to not leave the house this time of year. I admire the courage of shooters like @EPG for even opening the back door let alone shoot airguns.Hello @EPG
Man are you nuts???? Just looking at those pictures hurts and makes me cold. Listen, go in the house and fix yourself a hot toddy and relax . Oh yeah, that's some fine shooting
