3000 psi output bellville stack specs

Hi, my air Venturi 90ci bottle was leaking at regulator ck ball. Couldn’t find parts so I machined it to take new pin valve, piston and seat. That seals fine now. but need to set regulator output pressure at 2900psi. Bottle rated for 4500 and regulator stamped 2900. My problem is what is the order of the Belleville washers? I ordered new ones from car lane a set of 12 .032 and set of .047 thk but not getting higher then 2000psi with the .032’s haven’t tried .047’s yet. What’s the order for 3k output?

Assuming the piston's dimensions are the typical 0.55" dia on the large end and 0.32" on the small end, a 3000psi setpoint applies a differential force of about 472lbs. Check the flat rating of your 0.047" thick Bellevilles...the ones I'm familiar with* have a flat rating of 600lbs which means you would need a simple series stack )()()()( of however many it takes to fill out the piston to the O-ring.

Thanks for reply. Yes that’s the same spec’s as mine. 600lbs Originally it had 11 Bellevilles.032thk and 3x .005 flat shims arranged like this tank< | )))((()))(( || giving me 2800psi. But after boring out bonnet and new piston only getting about 2k. Held depths to same dimensions. Don’t know why it changed that much. I’ve read adding .005 shim increases by only 100 psi with the .032’s this sound about right? I’m going to try your suggestion and add a .005 shim at ends to keep from digging into alum/brass parts.
