3000PSI and 4500PSI SCBA MSA firefighter tank questions

I have a bunch of 3000psi and 4500 psi SCBA tanks. I may list some of them in classifieds later but wanted to ask a few questions . The majority of the tanks are 3000psi tanks. Can these be used for PCP guns or Paintball as is or what is needed? I know very little about both sports. I have read that in paintball they could be used to refill smaller tanks but they also seem to have adapters that would allow them to be used for supply? For airgun it seems they are used to refill the gun but once again i am unsure? These bottles have a valve on the top with handle to turn to open or close with a pressure gauge to tell you how much air is left in the bottle. So can anyone explain in both circumstances how they can be used and what is needed?

3,000psi aren't as relevant or desirable for airguns nowadays as MOST are at least a 3K fill. Even if the guns are 3K you'd only get one maximum fill from a 3K tank. 4500psi is what almost all of us use. If they have cga347 threads you need a CGA347 fill adapter for filling guns. Those can be found on ebay or more expensive units are available.

I agree the 4500 psi tanks are far more desirable. That is what I use and the only thing I would consider buying if I need another. In addition to the tank, I needed a fill set. I tried an inexpensive one (under $100) but it leaked badly so I went to one that was closer to $200. A tank plus a fill set and a way to charge the tank (I use an inexpensive Yong Heng compressor) is a great setup for PCPs.

ive had great success with the cheap $50 ebay fill systems,
although i do replace the hose with a microbore hose of better quality.
