Discharging on the final compression stroke. Any ideas what may be causing this. At first I thought I was inadvertently touching trigger blade, that is not the case. Have had this only a short while.
Note that "trigger pull" (first stage length, screw no. 8 in the diagram) and "trigger point" (release point of the second stage, screw no. 9) must be worked together. These control sear engagement and if you change one, you must coordinate the other. A previous owner likely did not understand that.
Upon further review...it may be that both trigger stages have been dialed out completely? This MIGHT work...as always go slowly and carefully of course!
1. As a safety precaution, start by turning screw 7 clockwise to heavy up the pull weight. 2. Turn screw 9 in (clockwise) until you can safely close the cocking lever (trigger pull will be "all second stage" at that point). 3. Then turn screw 8 in until you feel the lighter first stage come in to the pull.
