.303 Nelson slugs in Leshiy 2

Hello everyone! I just got some new 47.2 grn.303 cal slugs for my L2. I went to put them in a magazine and they are too big. I am not sure how much force I would need to get them all the way in but it would be a lot. Wondering if any one has bought and tried to use them in their L2. At this point I am even afraid to try shooting them one at a time. It said that these were made for the L2 so they would not shake around in the magazines. Well that’s true just not sure if the air would be able to blow them into the barrel as tight as they would be in there. I added a pic. That’s as far as they would go in with just finger pressure.

I just checked my .30 cylinder and the FX hybrids are a perfect fit at .300” . They require very little pressure to get them in and would probably work their way forward when carrying the rifle muzzle down. I would think a .301” would be all you would need to keep them in the rear of the cylinder. My Leshiy does not shoot the FX Hybrids as well as the JSB pellets so I stay with them. Plenty of foot pounds with the 45 and 50 grain pellets for anything I’m shooting and good accuracy. Now it’s different with the .22 barrel. It shoots best with AVS 32 grain cup base .2183 slugs. Haven’t tried this size from other slug suppliers to compare yet but they are a nice press in fit in my 22 cylinder. I would send your .303 slugs back and exchange for .301+ size.
