34 grain VK dish base!

Got number 43 this morning at 86 yards with my Cricket carbines favorite food.

34 dish base big hollow points from Dale!

Little High right in between the eye and ear with a mighty thump!

Have a new batch of NSA 29 and 33.5 to try but haven't had time to test them yet...I hope for the price they perform as well as the varmint knockers because these my friends are awesome!

Pardon my ignorance, is that a groundhog, woodchuck??? What is it...??? How much does it weigh??? Don't see those around here...

EDIT: from your username, I'll go with woodchuck... Never seen one up close...

Ken

Yes sir it's a woodchuck and the big ones go upwards of 20 pounds. Not sure exactly where you are in Illinois but I'm sure you have some in the rural areas there. There populations have exploded around here in the last few years!

20lbs... Wow... I may have seen these in the ditches around some farms... "Whistle Pigs" I've heard that one before...The fur looks cool up close... Thanks for the info guys... My pest elimination has mostly been pigeons, possums, rats, starlings etc... Tree rats and ground squirrels when they're digging and causing trouble... Tangled with a muskrat once, mean thing when cornered...

That's a big hog! Good shot at that distance. I think I may have sold you the Cricket Carbine??

Maybe?

It Was power tuned by Derrick Wall in Texas. I've had a few different scopes on it trying to get the right feel and I think I nailed it finally!

She's wearing a SWFA 10x42 milquad now and I just love it! Its launching a 34 grain slug at 920fps and is a woodchucks worst nightmare!!! It will go hotter but accuracy is best were it's set now.
