#42 in the books!

Been a pretty good year for woodchucks!

Got this big momma this morning at 66 yards. Overcast day with about 11 MPH winds but no match for a varmint knocker 34 grainer at 920 fps. Watched the slug fly to the target it was epic! Not much good weather left so these critters will be going to sleep soon.

How do you like that cricket ? Any mods done for the VK34's ? I took my 22 cal. cricket out today & got a nutria # 6 so far . I didn't know you can use slugs in them so thanks for showing & that's a nice chuck . Hope you have more luck Darell

I love my Cricket carbine! The only drawback is that I have to remove the stock from the action to adjust the power but its worth the effort and really shoots good when I find the right tune. My regulator is set at 160 bar and has been awesome for shooting slugs and the 34 JSBs.

Its been power tuned by Derrick Wall in Texas and it's a hoss as Derrick says.

It shoots many slugs very well and I just ordered some new 29 grain from NSA to give a try for small game season this fall.
