Killzone he is on the list 5 lines down.
I will just come out and say it……. I had a much better experience with Air Hog. I attempted to purchase several large ticket items from Joe and the price kept changing (going up). He wants to play the good ole boy and "I'll take good care of you" and then give you the highest priced option. I see all these quote unquote discounts,( I'll match any offer) that he was offering and I never saw any. More of a bait and switch. His website is a freaking mess so he can be the expert and "help guide you through it" leading you to the highest priced option. He proceeds to tell you you're an idot for not taking that option ( like the 2nd gauge which you don't need), and oh…….. I don't have any tanks without the 2nd gauge on at this time it might take a while to get one in. He lost a $3000.00 deal from me, future business, and a negative review. Everytime I hear someone plugging Airtanksforsale, I think " he snowed another one". I have been trying not to trash talk but I think it's important for new air gunners to do their due diligence before buying. I have learned in the dental industry from the dental reps. that the guy trying to be your "friend" usually isn't. My interaction with Air tanks for sale left me with a very bitter taste!
Conversely, when I went onto Air Hog's Website the choices were very plane and simple. There was even some nice video for people just starting out. Most of the things that Joe offered were there as well but in a much more clear understandable manner. Talking to Van, I recieved nearly a dissertation about clean air going into the tank. Did you know that the fluid in the gauges were designed for heavy equipment impact? We don't have impact in airgunning so we don't need fluid filled gauges. This is why Van put gauges without flluid (glycerin) on his tanks that don't leak! He is a very knowledgable man! Unfortunately he is no longer the owner but his engineer is still with the company.
Maybe I caught Joe on a bad day but my experience with Van from Air Hog was such a more superior experience, I take every opportunity to plug Air Hog. I have no interest in Air Hog other than being a satisfied customer. I really felt I was being taken advantage of being new to air gunning with Joe. I know others may diagree but that is my take.
If I am not mistaken, I believe it was Van Jacobi who introduced the carbon fiber tank to air gunning.
And yes I'll sign my name to this one:
