5.5-25X50 Aztec Emerald FFP with zero stop

I just purchased this scope and the instructions that come with it don't pertain to it. No mention of how to set the zero stop and wrong info on how to zero the elevation and windage knobs. Anyone have the right info or youtube video. I can't even find a correct picture of the adjustment knobs. The knobs on my scope don't pull up to turn and push down to lock. Thanks in advance.

I have that exact model. There is no mention of zero stop in the manual. You should not be able to rotate W & E knobs without lifting up on them. They lift up rather hard, but they will pull up. To set the knob to zero I use a nickle as it fits their slot rather well.

From the AofA site: With specifications that include MOA resetable zero turrets and reticle markings, side focus parallax correction, illuminated red/green reticle, and reticle zero make the Aztec Emerald a first choice for field or match use.
Notice I bolded “and reticle zero make”. Not sure if Aztec means that it is zero stop, but it’s not. And in the review comments a reviewer mentioned that “the only thing missing is a zero stop”.

I must have an older or newer model as the knobs don't pull up and the elevation knob will not go past zero. Could it be bottomed out? Going back to AOA this morning.
The knobs can be very difficult to pull up, much harder than on my Helos. Then again the turrets on the Aztec are “low profile” compared to the Helos tall turrets.

Scott: If you can return it. I've owned several Aztec scopes and they are disappointing in numerous ways. Look at Arken, you can still get the gen4 model for less than $300, great glass, solid clicks, 34mm tube, FFP and zero stop. I bought two of them and couldn't be happier. Far better than Aztec.
