FX 500yds H&N 36gr M3 700mm STD

Been waiting for the right conditions to try the H&N 36gr out to 500yds.... this evening was it ....complete lack of wind going on dusk.

Plate is 10" dia...one mag of 28 shots... They perform very well .They really like being pushed 1060-1070 seems to be the sweet spot. just on 137moa of drop

......and again......this is with the Standard FX Liner ..

If my math is right, you hit it 13 out of 28 at 500 yards? Few PB's would do better. What is your mid range trajectory? And your equipment? I am impressed!

These are 250yds.. from a few evenings ago........ same HN 36gr.. Plate is 6"

1 MOA at 500 yards is 5.235". At IBS 600 yard competitions if your 4 target aggregate of 5 shots per target is not less than 4 inches C to C in good weather conditions, you are not competitive.

What marksman with an air rifle has achieved this accuracy and precision at 500 yards let alone 600?

That many strikes at 500 is impressive with a .22. Hopefully there were no low flying birds killed while you were shooting that far.

These H&N,s might not have produced the absolute smallest groups, but they seem to be very consistent.

2 consecutive "14" shot 100yd groups ( 1 magazine )
