5 iguanas for a total of 68.4lbs, slow day but rhe biggens are out. Shooting the zan 49gr
Legs, tail, and jaw meat. The big ones will have a couple ounces of meat there. Like eating medallionsWhat do you eat from an iguana? Legs and tail? I only keep the legs and the back part of the back on squirrels. Maybe that works for iguanas?
Yeah that's why I made sure to keep my boots in the picture lol.Yikes! I wasn’t getting a good sense of scale from the photo. Thought I was looking at an average size wheelbarrow with kid’s shoes in the periphery. Averaging over 13lbs each. Wow.
I like foraging for flowered mushrooms lol.Mushroom hunting while iguana hunting? _Plumbus inedulis_
Yikes, how big are you white tails? We don't have big deer in south florida either.thats more weight than i get out of a whitetail deer
Yessir! Zan 49gr going about 940fps these are by far my favorite expanding projectile, the H&N 54gr have a slight edge accuracy wise. I've shot smaller iguanas with these slugsz and I mean like 2lbs iguanas, and these slugs will expand before they even come out. Having maybe 1.5x time width of a squirrel, although iguana skin is much stronger, the slug went in over the shoulder and there were 3 different exitsThis thread is nice!! My man said "jaw meat." I wasn't considering that. That's interesting. Which projectiles did you put them down with? Are those Zan's hollow point slugs? You knocked off some dinosaurs.
we have some large ones but most the does are meat deer are 110-125lbs and end up with 45-55 lbs of bonenless meat in freezerYikes, how big are you white tails? We don't have big deer in south florida either.
Oh wow, well they may not be biggens but they mure sure be delicious.we have some large ones but most the does are meat deer are 110-125lbs and end up with 45-55 lbs of bonenless meat in freezer
Thank you sir! I've had them before, but my cooking skills have not translated into me wanting to eat them weekly as of yet haha.Great shooting on those edible dino's! Nice pics .
My buddy and I actually do hunting tours. We work for Iguanabusters. For anyone who is interested, just call or email and ask for a tour with John, or Jc (me). That’s awesome. One day I’ll make it to Florida for a mini dinosaur safari. Where would a guy look for guide recommendations?
Yessir, we have people down here selling those as well as alligator wallets for more as well.I found this iguana wallet for $260?! WTH?
