700cc 300 bar CF bottle on FX Impact

Two weeks ago I got a message from Alsafe China: do you like to test our 700cc 300 bar carbon fiber bottle? Didn’t have to think long about that

first one with a 700mm barrel:

Second one with a 600mm barrel:

Bought 480cc and 580cc 300 bar tanks from them before and after some chatting with them they told me a 700cc was coming. I helped them a bit with sizing them correctly so it will fit and it turned out great These bottles are sized slightly smaller (~59mm) than the regular Inocom bottles (~61mm), this helps with getting some extra clearance between the barrel and bottle in the case the mouth isn’t 100% straight.

They are now available is what I understood so contact them if you want to make an order. Keep two things in mind: use a 300 bar valve, not a 250 bar valve! And slowly apply pressure on the first fill, all walls and seals have to settle under pressure and it’s better to get a oring pop out at 50 bar than at 250 bar

The empty weight is 640 gram, a bit more than the 480/580cc bottle so the extra weight isn’t that much.

it is a freaking huge bottle indeed. I don’t have specific numbers for this airgun since I’m still working on testing some different slugs etc. But for a quick calculation with a .30 cal:

580cc 250 bar fill gives me 78 shots at 265 m/s

700cc 300 bar fill should give me about 130 shots at the same speed.

Looks like a nice upgrade but I have to wonder about the strain that is put on the first reg with even more weight way out there. I thought the 580cc was pushing it a bit already.

A bottle of 700cc volume, oh my what a crazy time we live in. Can't wait to see twin bottle setups that shoots through tins of pellets in one go.

700cc is so large that a normal 12v compressor cant even do it anymore.

It’s a huma air MOD40 moderator. It clears the moderator just like with a 580cc bottle on a 600mm barrel

It’s not an exclusive, I’ve seen some people who also have them already Once shipped it arrives in a few days in my experience. Right now they only have a shop at alibaba (b2b) as far as I know, I can ask them if they can create a aliexpress (b2c) shop too.

Their site says testing pressure is only 1.7x working pressure. I believe that's far below the norm of 3x working pressure. I've been filling a chinese bottle to 300 bar on my son's gauntlet for two years though with no problems.

Pressure directive is to test at 1.5x the working pressure. Burst pressure is often designed/tested to be at/around 3x max working pressure.
