772 yards .25 FX M3, Absolute MOA/Ravin with Corbin slugs

Another beautiful morning here in Southern Oregon. The wind was light and varying slightly.
When I first got there the prevailing wind was coming from the right but as the sun came up and warmed things, the thermals started to blow up the canyon from the left. Probably the trickiest part of this area is the up/down drafts messing with your vertical. All in all, still a nice morning for shooting.

I did take the time to get a rough measurement of the rock I was aiming at with the Vortex Golden Eagle set on 40x. Looks like a little over 1 MOA wide by about .5 MOA tall.

Another beautiful morning here in Southern Oregon...
Greeting from Rogue River! Great post, I would never expect such accuracy today. I am still at a mindset that 100 yards is the goal. Time to start looking harder at exploring the many paths to achieve better accuracy at greater distance. Thanks, hope to see more posts like this from you!

yes and you haven't gotten to shoot the velox yet, hopefully you have a good idea of a small lightweight moderator for it..22 caliber..
you haven't shot the blitz yet but I don't know if it is too loud for your range.. wish it was quieter and could slow down the RPM..
so I've asked you about the airforce platform a few times.. and well I decided on the Condor to start with in 22 caliber.. this month is my birthday so I found a very good deal for two brand new ones, Condor 24" barrel and the Condor SS 22.. I like quiet but I want long range.. hopefully I can see a easy way to machine a shroud extension so I can use the SS parts and a long barrel.. hopefully eventually a 36" without a choke so it will shoot slugs well..
I need to look around the BLM on the back of our place and see if I can find a range hopefully 200+ yards..I'd really like to try 500 after I get accustomed to the gun..
you might as well get a chance to see them and see what you think.. I'll very likely only keep one.. unfortunately if it is a good one,it will probably lead to the Texan lss in 308..🤔😊
I did enjoy shooting your jsar raptor in 30 caliber.. if I go 308 I want to try the spire point boat tail slug.. from what I've read they are best for long distance..
still have to figure out what slugs are for the Condor factory barrel.. I'm terrible in finding information.. want to try jsb beasts and I'd like to get some NSA slugs but I don't know which caliber.. 216,217,218 I think are the ones I saw..if I can get the info I'll order from pyramid both slugs and jsb beasts..
hope you are doing well..I could be better, but it's life..
maybe we can get together next week if I get a few problems ironed out so I feel like doing something.. probably should be at my house because I don't know how it would be without a moderator at your place..
hope you are doing well my friend

You guys should consider the Josephine County Sportsman Park. There's a few ranges that go out to or passed 100 yards. The big bore range goes out to almost 600 yards. You can hang paper out to 300 yards but passed that, it's steel gongs.
It can be a little expensive but the convenience of concrete benches that are covered for year round shooting is worth it imo.

steel gongs sounds great, where is the park?
I'm in Rogue River Oregon but I never heard of it before now..
there's a shooting club in Medford but I think it is just shotgun trap shooting..
are there others that are in the area that go and meet there? not that I want to compete but I'd like seeing how others do it and well hopefully learn something.
