That's typically my relationship with squirrels as well. But sometimes they are a problem, and I will help other people out on their property if they ask.
One tree chicken at my house got the gumption to eat my wife's porch chair.... I set it out in the yard, and caught him in the act one day. I have to say he did have some pretty big cajones, lol. Made some pretty fine stew, too.

break-in period. just got it a couple days ago. so far, i think i'm liking the FTTs best.
x10 each, BR@25Y. nothing spectacular, about any b-barrel can shoot at least that good, but i'll work on it.
i really gotta find me a good 50-yard spot. so i can separate the keepers from the toys.

I never bothered them around my house, I do hunt them in the woods and love a good squirrel gravy but after they chewed my internet cable into, I was game on!
Also, a buddy of mine had them get in his attic. He started having electrical problems and after a $2000 repair bill the electrician told him he was lucky it didn’t burn down.
They don’t get a pass around my house anymore!
