Tom, Get rid of those unsorted pellets /unweighed pellets and really show what that Wolf will do. As long as you shot pellets straight out of the tin your numbers could get skewed a little.
Last April I picked up a used Vulcan 2 in 25 caliber. Using JSB Kings 25.34 grain unsorted / unweighed pellets starting at 240 bar I shot 45 shots down to 140 bar. This was the results ............
1st 10 shots = 889,885,884 887,888,883,888,885,887,881 ES 8.00 SD 2.09
2nd 10 shots = 886,883,883,883,884,885,884,883,884,884 ES 3.00 SD .099
3rd 10 shots = 886,882,884,884,885,844,844,881,882,885 ES 5.00 SD 1.57
4th 10 shots = 887,884,886,884,883,884,884,885,887,884 ES 4.00 SD 1.40
5th 5 shots = 887, 885, 881, 879, 879 ES 8.00 SD 3.63
I Think I made a thread on this forum on those results. I've done a lot of chronographing of all my rifles I have owned in the last 15 years and these results I believe was the best I ever printed. Sorry, Didn't mean to jump on a Red Wolf Thread. I know full well how you a Dennis shoot them. Regards, Bill Day
