AEA 95 Caliber Zeus

@Healthservice You plan on doing some bowling or something? I can see it now, you have some silhouette targets setup and you roll a .95 caliber round ball out to see how many silhoette targets you can knockdown.
What grain pellet or slug would that fire? If im right with calculations lets say if the pellet is 200 gr at 12 ft lbs it would have to fire at 164.36 fps. Thats still 112 mph still. The trajectory would probably be really loopy.

Wonder if a person would have to worry about wind at 20 or 30 yards? 🤔

If I remember correctly, in the shot show video bin said it's 2500gr

@Healthservices Pellet? 😂 That pellet would probably be a novelty pellet. That rifle will likely lob jawbreakers like a catapult.

You could also use it as a novelty mug apparently

At least we won't have to worry about it opening up too much, or over penetrating, or striking what's back behind the target, LOL! Just being snarky.

I'd almost buy one just to bring it to a shooting range so I can watch people freak out.

One time I brought my 375Cheytac to Ben Avery shooting range and promptly got asked to leave after taking a few shots. I asked the RM if elephant guns and those cartridges were allowed and he said yes. Then I said well this has less energy than some of them. Nope he said 375CT is like a 50bmg and you can't shoot those here. :oops:OK I said shaking my head and then left.
But it drew a crowd, as well as plenty of gun drama at the range, and the whole experience was interesting to say the least.

I have had Fx's, the company I work with for pest control solely uses Fx's. And I work on them if they need me to tune them or if mess up. So that's atleast 12 Fx's that I have had my hands on WITHOUT problems.

Since the beginning of AEA they have had problems and continue to do so, have they gotten better? Yes, but the guns they make are powerhouses for that reson, the lack of QC is what is concerning.

I bet Hatsan has had more QC problems than any other company, and yet every experience I have had with QC problems have been met with speedy responses and parts being sent to me in amazon delivery fashion. Can you say that about AEA? I've personally owned 3 AEA, and have shot 5 other ones. 3 of the 8 were problem free, all of which could've been addressed but never did even with the high amount of complaints. Guns arriving with missing parts, poppet valves not lasting long enough, magazines breaking within 200 shots, not cycling properly, semi autos having so much blockback that it pushed the projectile back into the main block and jamming the cocking lever.

Can you imaging shooting this thing with a magazine and the lid to the mag breaking off in your face? The only two AEA that I have had fantastic results with are the AEA Max in 357, the AEA Standard and AEA Varmint.

I don't care that they are a chinese company, or that AEA makes the strongest airguns for an affordable price, just don't cut corners. They surpass handguns in terms of power and now centerfire cartridges.
I can go one better than Hatsan, the only thing I had to replace in 3 years is 1 o-ring on my AEA 357 as far as semi's, I wouldn't buy any of them!
